Lessons learned about career decision making

UP Manila c/o the Office of Student Affairs had just launched the annual university-wide job fair. As a "sure soon to be graduate" of the university, I take advantage of going into these kind of activities. Yesterday, a seminar about career decision making was held and the lecture was simply awesome. I think that the lecture addresses issues concerning not only potential new graduates but employed individuals as well. The lecture made me realized that there is a lot of opportunities after school. Success will depend on things such as starting out with a realistic vision, setting feasible goals, knowing what you want to do, determining weaknesses and strengths and working out for your dream. As what the Immortal Hulk Hogan, you will need proper training, right vitamins and lots of prayers to attain success.

Analyzing these facts led me to a conclusion. Everything, including the outcome of one's future, depends on each single decision he made however big or small. One has the power to put himself at the apex or bury himself 6 feet under. Maybe you'll say, "hey, how about the external factors??" Yup, these factors also matter depending on how you'll treat it. Will it be a challenge or a liability for you? I am taking those things as a form of challenge. :>
