The Root Canal Anals (Part 3)

Three canals, six sessions, multiple endofiles, series of half-day sessions, chair 21, one "surgery-junkie" clinician and one nervous dental patient = lifetime treatment for an aching nerve pulp! Natapos din ang one of the many dental treatments that yours trully must gone through. Thank to the patience of Monica for really figuring out solution on how to resolved the challenging endo case my molars had post.

October 23 sa loob ng OS Section: Another schedule was set to evaluate my right molars for Odontectomy aka "tooth extraction". Di dapat matutuloy ito, kaso nabigyan ng extra week ang mga dent students to do extractions. Tsk, tsk, sinipag din ang clinician ko magbunot. The procedure started with the usual steps of injecting some milliliters of local anesthesia. Then the carnage starts!

The procedure went bloody and painful amidst the four shots of anesthesia. The pain is excruciating at the start but somehow subsided in the It's good that through the patience and commendable extraction skill of Monica have made the extraction less traumatic. May isa pang i-oodontec pero sa January. Buti na lang!

Lesson: Ang quality dental care ay hindi mahirap iimplement. Kailangan lang ng consistency at compliance sa dentist.

The castle is crumbling down

Two straight non-stop, nerve-wracking, mind-boogling, saliva-dripping (hehe) and tension-rising schedule is ahead of yours trully. 11 PM na at di ko pa rin alam kung sisimulan ang linggong ito. Two straight RCT (root canal treatment) sessions, 1 session for setting up a webserver, another session for assisting installation of an IP-PABX server, two urgently needed reports and network documentation, preparation for the Capiz CHITS session, 3 already delayed assignments, 2 modules for the Online Faculty database, 4 troubleshooting jobs in Pathology, 2 week preparation for the PHP class in National Computer Center and the damn list goes on. In as much as I would have want to do these things in one sitting, malakas ang temptation na matulog na lang muna. Ang tamad.
Anyway, this what I am aiming for quite some time... a real killer schedule. Something which can make or break one's sanity. A morale buster or a morale booster. As what the title suggests, the castle is the confidence to do and execute things. Yes, the castle is crumbling down but I am used on these kind of situations. Isang Bacchus drink, 5 shots of lambanog, 10 sticks of Marlboro light and 1 long walk to Recidencias de Manila....... the castle will rise again.
